A Dream of a Thousand Cats
“A Dream of a Thousand Cats” is an animated episode from the Netflix series “The Sandman”, based on the bestselling graphic novels by acclaimed writer Neil Gaiman. In this episode, cats re-imagine a world where they are not subordinate pets to humans.
Dutch animator Hisko Hulsing served as director and production designer for the episode. Submarine worked on the 2D animation, the oil paintings and stylizing, while Untold Studios in London made the 3D models for the cats. Bouwine Pool was 2D animation supervisor.
