Best Birthday Ever
Best Birthday Ever is a feature length animation film based on the best-selling picture books Karlchen (aka Little Charlie) by German author Rotraut Susanne Berner. Best Birthday Ever is a feature-length animation film about Little Charlie, a small rabbit who lives with his loving family and pets in a house at the edge of town.
Submarine teamed up with Alexandra Schatz Filmproduktion in Germany and Sweden’s Slugger Film for this 75min co-production aimed at children aged 4-7. The film was released in theaters the summer of 2021, and was sold to over 20 territories.
Submarine, together with Alexandra Shatz Filmproduktion, is currently producing a 26 x 7min series “Little Charlie”, which will be broadcasted by Videoland in the Netherlands and ZDF in Germany.
